About Prospect

Michael Langlois founded his communications consultancy, Diversified Communications, in 1989. Michael’s clients at the time were mainly corporations, government and not-for-profit organizations. To this day Michael continues to do corporate consulting, helping clients develop issues guides, teaching media awareness, public speaking, as well as one-on-one coaching with top executives.

Michael had worked in the media for many years prior to joining P.R. firm Hill and Knowlton in the early ‘80s. He had earlier hosted radio sports talk shows in Sault St. Marie, Montreal and Windsor. His background in sports were the perfect stepping stone when sports organizations and coaches began approaching him for his expertise. In 1999, Prospect Communications was incorporated as an independent entity and began official business operations. Prospect was developed in response to the growing demand for proactive and intelligent communications skills development and issues management services specialized to meet the unique needs of sports-related clients.

Since its creation, Prospect has continued to work with a vast range of both high-profile professional clients and successful amateur athletes, as well as influential amateur and youth sports organizations.. From head coaches, professional athletes and the general managers of sports franchises  to young amateur and semi-professional athletes, volunteer coaches and parents, Michael’s counsel is sought by those looking to come across in a credible and thoughtful manner.

Over twenty-two years later, Michael continues to work enthusiastically with corporate clients, nonprofit organizations and the clients in the sports world.
